Nuke Or Not in the beginning was a lame kicks and bass-line song. I shoved it aside for about a month and started working on it after, deleting almost half of the instruments, the bass and then I found an incredible function in FLStudio (when it was still Fruity Loops): Echos on a sampler channel and a Waveshaper plug-in. And then... I screwed up a bar full of beats and played it accidentally trying to recover it. "Oh, this sounds pretty cool actually!" And that became the confusing kicks break that sounds VERY annoying to dance to. (Sometimes I love pestering people/DJs. Keeps them sharp.)
Within the hour, this was the result. Such a strong song should have a strong title. "Shall we Nuke Or Not? - Nah, just give them this."
Still one of my fave YZ songs ever and still enjoy playing it during my DJ sets online. Probably even more now. Oh, and that girl screaming? That is not even a screaming girl sample. It's a looped pitched beat, using a filter effect. There, that's one YZ secret revealed.
Heard a lot about it. So many times in fact that I went on a quest to find it. No surprises, it was exactly as I was told. A must have and a must play (on repeat.) Great album with a shitload of tracks. KrrKrrKrr
